I have a Ferguson TO-20 and a disk with a quick hitch. Am I better off modifying the disk to be pulled by the belly mounted draw bar or by a conventional 3-pt arrangement? The disk is two row, probably weighs 600 lbs and has a fixed angle (can't be straightened for towing with out cutting). This is the main reason I want to use the 3-pt so that I can lift it to move it. Also, is rollover a concern while using it or will it ride up and over obsticals?

It sounds to me like youve already made up your mind to use the 3 point, and thats the best idea for your setup. The disc mounted as such will help you keep from tipping sideways or backward. You WILL feel light in the front end when you steer the tractor. IF you get to where ytou cant steer it, just lower the disc more but only enough to allow you to turn the tractor asif put to deeep it might hamper your traction. Good luck, Bill
