Which mower is more specifically designed to use with the NAA Ford Tractor? Is there a recommended mower? I know all can be used/adapted, but did Ford recommend a mower/rake/baler? Thanks, Michael

I have a Massey-Ferguson 32 sickle bar mower that I use on my Jubilee. This is a 3-pt mounted mower with a pitman. MF also made pitmanless versions that are better for mowing ditch banks. My neighbor has a Ford 501 and the MF is a lot easier to get on and off the tractor.

Ford's 515 sicklebar was designed to fit on all their tractors and there are still a lot of them around. You should be able to pick one up pretty cheap. I never saw a Ford baler, although I've heard of them. I've got an 8N and used a MF 10 baler until recently without problems, and have heard a lot of folks using NH balers with no problems.

Yes, Ford always recommened Dearborn Equipment in the 40s and 50s. Good luck finding them, tho I saw a engine drivin bailer that was heavy enough to make a John Deere D stand up and take notice. Ida liked to seen a 8n or 9n or even the later 50s fords hooked to it.
