Mine is 4 feet and I can't help but think it should be wider. It'd sure help with even 6" more width.

Curious what is the make and model# of your baler?
I know that the neighbor i work for has a new holland #273 without the super sweep and its gotta be no wider than about 42 inches.its really bad when you have thick windrows!!

Must be a problem I'm causing and everyone is thinking "so big deal, what's any different than mine". Mine is an old Case 133. I just paced mine off so it could be a bit narrower the what I said. Most balers are around 4" wide? I'd have thought that would be a place for improvement.

Dang neighbor baler aint 4 feet wide,i dont think it is at least, cause when we have a widw windrow we cant get it all up in one pass we were baling with it july 1st-3rd and had to make several passes on a few of the windrows.lolwent out in the evenings and got about 200 bales off 4-5 acres.thats not bad.hey do those case balers work pretty good.im from ohio and i dont think ive ever seen onehere.i bet they go cheap though.
I know of a local auction here that is gonna have a lot of mm equimpment, but not much case equipmeant, just a case rake.I guess case implements are rare.
