I have a Ford 2N and am interested in comments as to what folks like to use. I have a John Deere Model 9 three-point mower that is heavy for this tractor. The 2N has two positions for the three-point - up or down, and I am making ruts. One day I got hung-up in the ditch line along the state highway. The mower was lifted as high as it would go, left front tire of the ground and the left rear had spun up all the shoulder gravel, so-no traction. That is when the light came on that I need something different. A Woods (type) mower[new undercarriage unit is $2140 list-expensive] or brush hog would do a better job anyway. Thanks for the input.

Just wondering if you have heard of the Zane Thang for your 2N. I have heard alot of comments on this device to add position control to your lift. I have and 8N which already has position control so I have not experienced this first hand. I don't know if this will help your mower situation but it may be of some value to you. Best of luck!
