I recently bought a 7 foot blade that weights around 280 LBS and noticed how much better it does with my weight on the blade when scaping hard ground so i got two suitcase weights at 100lbs a piece but they were broke where they hang at. so i need to mount them on the blade on the side so they do not stick over the blade so that it can be rotated. any one have any ideas thanks in advance DON

I'd put a bracket or box on the frame over the pivot area, leave the blade to jump around on it's own.

Could you drill a hole thru them and bot them flat on top of the upper framework.
