I have been given a pile of machinery to remove, in the midst, found a nearly complete John Deere corn binder, on steel, PTO driven. First I thought it was a pull picker that was stripped. Whats your thoughts, save it? wouldn't mind trying to shock some corn. Or is it too odd to mess with and try to sell later? John

John, If you are considering getting rid of the binder, please contact me. The club I belong to raises and shocks about 2 acres of corn each year during the annual show. Your piece would be a nice addition to our display.

Kim,I am sorry for this multiple, the post wouldn't load all the way, so I came back three times and still wouldn't, so I gave up. and here it went through without the blue line at the bottom, ever reaching the end. go figure, john

John Ne: Save it. I noticed the last couple years there were several threshing shows that also had corn binders working nearby too. They would also haul the bundles in close to the people and have more machines running to chop and blow the silage into wagons. It adds to just having Oats being threshed. Donate it to a club that will put it into a working display?? G.
