Hey, you guys out there in the Midwest who can pick up good 1 and 2 row pickers cheap, you ought to collect up a couple of truck loads of New Idea Superpickers and haul them to Pennsylvania. A NI 323 in good shape sells for $1500-$2000. A 325 2rn will sell for $2500-$3000 in good shape. The last bunch of Superpickers (327,329, etc.) sell for over $3000 each. There's still a demand for them in this area, judging by the prices. It's hard to find a good picker around here. I'm in NJ, went out into PA and paid $1000 for a 323, and put $300 worth of work into it before using it. Had a Ford picker that died and couldn't get parts for anymore, and really needed that Superpicker. . . .

My ear corn is sold to be ground (cobs and all) for dairy feed. Cobs give the feed some roughage value.

Only NI pull-type Superpickers and JD300A machines bring money. Mounted NI and JD pickers, and all other brands of pickers sell cheap.
