I would look at a couple of things. The MF124 was a strong high capacity baler in its time which was the early 70's I think and I hope Jim UT steps in here and fills the voids as he knows that baler better than I. It is an older baler and most parts are probably available from Agco but have the check book ready. The 336 is a newer baler and is not that much different from the balers JD has built for the last several years. Parts are readily available. As with the other one, bring your checkbook. The part that scares me is the "Knotter Problem"That can quickly add a thousand dollars if you have a cracked or busted up knotter. I would know alot more about the knotter problem before biting that one. The MF if it is baling may be the best buy for $500 while looking for a parts baler. I would not recommend buying the MF if it needs much to get it to the field baling or if it is worn out. Might be a cream puff though, check it out. Again Jim will be able to tell you more about the 124 and its characteristics.
