Long Equipment Company of Tarboro, NC manufactured one of their balers in the early 50's and I don't know if they continued to manufacture them until the NH buy. I have a Long Model 60 baler manual with a letter in it inviting Ford dealers to come to a training seminar dated early 50's. I just saw what model it was but I can not remember what it was.

I would want one. Please point me to all of the ones in NC if you would. They still seem to want money for them around here.

Some of us are good enough mechanics that we are not outwitted with a poorly engineered baler. I know the Ford was a poor baler but we can make ANY of them bale hay, even the Olivers and the IHC 27. Just a little mechanical ability and very few tools needed.
