I was looking for some information on the planters, how do they work do they leave the field level,do you get a better stand, how much hp to pull it,how many acres can you plant in a day, etc. We use a manure spreader to spread with then disc, just wondering if a planter would be better. Thanks

TOM I HAVE USED (RENTED) BERMUDA KING PLANTER 4 ROW AND THREE ROW. DOES NOT TAKE MUCH HP TO PULL BUT LOADDING THE SPRIGS IS HARD IF YOU HAVE TO LOAD BY HAND MOST IMPORANT IS HAVE YOUR GROUND IN GOOD SHAPE PLOWED AND DISK I DID BETTER WHEN SOIL WAS HEAVY I PLANTED 5 AC. FROM 5 UNTIL DARK AND LOADED BY HAND. I NOW HAVE A OLD TWO ROW WICHITA
SPRIGGER ALSO A DIGGER I PICK UP AT JUNK YARD FOR NOTHING AND THEY WORK THE BEST.
