greetings. I am plowing with a fergie to35. and am pulling an older ford two bottom plow. does anyone know where a person can purchase new shares for the plow. my dad is 83 and used to heat up a forge and beat them out himself. Probably be easier for me just to purchase some if they are available.

We had the 2-bottom wheelless plow for our 9N to plow the garden. There was an optional gauge wheel available for that plow that mounted on the land side. The shares were usually only good for 2-3 sharpenings, then new shares were needed. With the advent of throw-away shares and decreased use of moldboard plows, plow share sharpening is now a lost art.

Our dealership in Pa can ship them to you, We need the number stamped on the back of the large moldboard (it turns the ground over), it should start with 14A, 14R or 14S, call 717-896-3414.
