I am wanting to build a set of front forks for my ford 730 HD loader. I would appreciate all suggestions on type of material and dimensions. thanks

I built a set for my JD 950 using 2"x2"x11ga sq tubing and 2"x2"x3/16" angle iron. The angle iron slips over the front lip of the bucket. The forks extend under the bucket. I welded a bolt on top of each of these and they go up thru two holes that were already in the bottom of my bucket. Total cost was about $15 of new steel and about an hours time. On and off in less than a minute. The forks don't block the bucket so I can fill it with stuff and load stuff on the forks at the same time and dump it all with no problem.
