The other day a feller asked me about the condition of the frogs on a plow I have for sale. I said OK.... Growin' up we always called the piece that supports the share and point the FROG. So, I was wonderin, what in the heck would you have to do to a plow to have the frog not okay?
Jus' wonderin,Mguy. thanks ahead.

What JMS said. Also, set it in a spilled spot of fertilizer and let it rust all to heck.

Wear down the shares so much that the frog wears too, losing front bolt holes. Hitting enough rocks to split the frog. Breaking off the welded support shaft that reinforces the frog.
