Have A 16 Flat-Bevel Furrow Tire: What Does It Fit?

I recently purchased a 16" plow tire, the kind that is flat that rides in a furrow like what is seen on the Farmall/McCormick plows. To be honest, I didn't have my manual at the time for the right size, but knew I needed one, so thought it looked close, and purchased it. I am sure we all have done that a time or two. I didn't get taken at all on the transaction; but of course, it was wrong when I got it home. Now, I am looking for the correct application for the item for sale purposes. If my memory serves me correctly, most all IH items were 15" or smaller and I am not up to speed on other makes. Can anyone help me out on this one? Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance for your help.

I have a Minneapolis Moline plow with 16" tires. The manual calls for 4.00 X 16, but mine are wider. If your tire is in good condition, you shouldn't have any problem finding a new home for it.

I think what you have is a front tractor tire that is used for lister farming. I saw several a few years ago at the swap meet at Waukee,Iowa.

I'm not sure that I have ever seen a flat bevel furrow tire! I would apriciate a pic of one if it is possible.

As to what plow has a 16" tire, I have an Oliver 14" 2 btm plow w/ 16" tires.

Hope this helps, Pat
