Just obtained an Adams Leaning Wheel Road Grader Model 1C, serial number 2992, made in the J.D. Adams & Co. works in Indianapolis, IN., which I'll return to horse-drawn operation. Is functional now but looking for source of parts (stop laughing!!) and some historical information. Any others out there interested in info. exchange or moral support on the subject of horse drawn equipment? We live in the south-central Colorado Mountains.

have an Adams Leaning Wheel Grader No 1C that has been in an old barn. Any historical info would be very much appreciated. All I could find on it is the serial #2027. Contact me for pic.

I have a Adams horse drawn grader. It is a model no. 8. The front trucks were removed to allow use with a tractor. I have no information about the machine and would appreciate any help. Could use a picture if anyone has one. I would like to know what the front end is supposed to look like. If someone has the front truck for sale let me know.

If you break any parts don't throw them away, you may have to go to a machine shop or small foundry to have new parts made to replace the parts if you cannot locate replacements.....
