Hi Dick. Well, a very interesting thing just happened. This morning after arriving at work, I looked up a Model 80 New Holland Baler on the computer generated parts catalog and guess what? There is NO model 80 listed. That is why your young friend told there was no 80 ever made. So I went to our old parts books, but we never had a book because our dealership never sold any model 80's. I believe it would be reasonable to assume that there would not be any decals available any more, but I do not have a part number to confirm this. F.Y.I.- Your baler was made between 1950-1955. If you are real serious about decals, I will call someone at New Holland and try to research this for you. Just let me know. Sorry, Steve p.s. (If there was an "old" guy that helped you out before, perhaps that same dealership has a model 80 parts book still around if anyone is helpful enough to look for you)

Dick, I looked in the 80 parts book and it does not give a number for any decals,so I looked in the 87 which was the next model made but with a lot of changes and the number for the decals is 37481. Hope this helps

Thanks Steve and Balerman, I appreciate your research. I still can't decide wheather to strip and repaint the old girl or not. Am a little leary of removing all the twisters to paint behind and then not being able to get them reinstalled correctly!! Maybe I'll just shoot the paint on over everything have seen some "restorers" paint over dirt, grease, and once a guy painted a cloth glove that had been left in a tool box. Again appreciate the answerers. Dick

I found a couple of spots I am going to have to repaint on my 68.
I forgot about a couple of washers I had left on top of the baler.
So now I have 2 1 1/2 inch brown circles on top.
:-)

Hey Steve.
Could you recomend a set of decales that might work on my 68.
All I really need is 2 small NH decales for the sides of the bale chamber, a bigger New Holland or if there is one that Just says HayLiner for the front. And a bigger New Holland Sticker for the back.
Sorry to be a pain.
Kelly
