Can any one tell me if there are liners availible
for a JD 14t. I read somthing a while back about them but I can't find anything in the archives. What are they, how do they install, and where do you get them (who makes them)? My 14t chamber is very thin, well, worn through on the needle brake side. I'm fixing this baler to use but have not ran it yet.Every thing else checks out ok but I dont want to sink money and time into new tires etc if it is a lost cause. Thanks!

I've never really looked at it on my 346 to see it it would be possible but could you just line the bale chamber with some say 3/16 thick sheet metal? I know it would be a job and may not be worth the time but its a thought?

I think I'm going to try to fix with steel and run some hay through to see if it will work.

I bet that will work fine, can't make any promises but I don't see why it wouldn't. You may have to cut out for some bolt heads and such but that shouldn't be too much trouble. Let me know how you come out.

Here's a company that can help you with the liner, it's Bale Skis Baler Liner. Made to
fit all makes and models. No website, but the
phone is 888-889-3846 or 406-889-3846. Write
to L.D. Ag Machinery, L.L.C., 2547 Burma Road,
Eureka, Montana, 59917. Don't know if it's
cost effective, but the call is free. Good
luck.

Thanks for the info, but after some searching, i found their web site. It is NOT cost effective for an old 14T. $435.00 plus shipping. Might be time to part the old girl out.
