Anyone out here have an idea what a pair of FARMALL CUB shovels with mounts is worth. Trying to buy a set for my cub and feel I am getting hosed at $230.00.

Thanks for any help

About 2 years ago, I think I watched a mechanic at a salvage yard take shovels off a much larger IH mounted cultivator, to go on a cub. That's where I would look, if I only needed the shovels and shanks and not all the attaching framework.

If you're talking about that pair on ebay, you're right - that's a hosing. I'm not even sure those are cub shanks & shovels.

Ill tell ya this, Theres a stuck cub settng at a lawnmower shop 1/2 mile from where I kive. I checked into it and they said the guy who had receved it was no longer there. They didnt know what was supposed to be done with it and were getting tired of seeing it there. They didnt even know who it belonged to. I offered $200 for the cultivators which was in GOOD shape. A guy at work said he would like to buy the tractor to fix. Perhaps if I amn lucky (which Im not) Ill be able top buy the whole thing, sell him the tractor for enough to buy my cultivators, or part of them. The good thing is. I dont have to pay shippoing costs, or go a long way to haul them home, and I get to see what they look like.
