I have a 501 Ford sicklemower with a broken PTO shaft bearing. Does anyone know where I can locate one to replace it. I don't want to buy a complete mower to fix this.

Brad; If your mower has an 1-1/4" brg. seat it requires 2 ea. Timken cups #LM67010, and 2 ea. Timken cones LM67048XL. HTH

I talked to my local NH dealer (old Ford dealer) and he said he couldn't get parts. Does Anyone have a phone number of a dealer that they know I can get parts.

Tell me the bearing you need, is it the universal cross or the tapered roller bearings at the very rear of the shaft?

Scott,
At the rear of the shaft. It is not on the removable end that fits on tractor.

I live in farm country, I take the old bearing parts to the Napa store (or equivelent) and there is only 1 bearing they couldn't find, no longer made, and 1 that took a long time to track down part numbers, in several decades of farm replacements.... Don't even think of trying the dealers for bearings!
