can one of you guys tell me what a haimey (spelling probably wrong) is. I overheard a man talking about pulling a haimey and didn't get to ask. Thanks. rj

Up here in NW ND the Graham-Hoeme was the ONLY chisel plow available, until other companies jumped on the bandwagon in the '50s. Before that, the best JD, IH, and the rest had to offer was the "duckfoot"(field cultivator).

That's the way it's pronounced but the spelling is all wrong. It's Graham Hoeme. My uncle worked for them back in the 50's and early 60's.

You might be referring to the Spanish equivalent of the man's name 'James'. It is spelled J-a-i-m-e and pronounced Hi-mee. Maybe some Hispanic named Jaime is notorious for doing some particular thing. Maybe it's best we never find out what it was..... ..On the other hand, now we're curious, so perhaps you should investigate further and let us all in on the secret!
