Does anyone have experience with the AC 302 twine baler? Are they reliable, parts still available? When were they originally produced?
Thanks for all information!

Re: AC 302 baler in reply to IowaBob, 01-14-2003 09:01:50

Iowa bao I have an AC 302 baler that a bought a year ago in December of 2001. I used it some last summer and it seems to be a good baler on hay although we did have some trouble trying to feed fresh cut wheat straw in to it. The straw seemed to be to slick for the feed forks to get a good hold on it. I myself did not know that AC even made a small square Baler. I cam across this one at an auction and I looked it over and it looked to be in very good shape. I think it had been misused more than it had been used. I wound up with it. I guess that AC made 2 modles of this Baler. A 302 & a 303. The manuals That I have says the 302 makes a 14*16 bale and the 303 16*18. I Think these balers were made in the late 50s after the small round rotobalers. They were also available in Twine or wire. Mine is Twine. As for parts I doubt if many are available. I tried to get a Rolling pto shaft cover and it was not available. I would sell this one if some one is interesred.
