I've just ordered a Hesston tedder. It should be here in another 3 to 4 weeks. Now I'm wondering if there are any problems with them. Has anyone had any experience with them? I should have checked here before ordering...

Dont worry about it you will be happy with it Hesston makes some of the best hay equiptment. If I were to get any new hay equiptment I would definitly go with Heston! Good luck with it.

What kinda money did you have to give for the little jewel? I've been looking at the same thing. I only need one two or three days a year, but would save me a little time during the wet season.

I paid $1950. That was one of my concerns. All of the others I looked at were considerably more. I also only will be using it 3 or 4 times per year. I'm just out of time and can't wait the additional days for my hay to dry. Plus in the northwest you just can't guarantee more than about 4 days of nice (dry)weather in a row. If you do, you have waited until August and your baling straw..

You are buying one of the best tedders on the market. The same tedder is also marketed as new idea brand. You will be satisfied with it.
