Dear all,
I have been reading through the previous posts and it appears that some have a poor view of older Case balers. I am wonder what exactly are wrong with the older Case balers?

Regards,
Damon

P.S When were the Case 130 balers manufactured?

Bought a new Case 130 baler about 1956. It was a great little baler. Only problem was it would break needles occasionally. Also had a 160. Great baler with super capacity. Case balers got a bad name when they tried to make an automatic baler out of the old NCM by putting a Pope knotter on it in the early 50s. Bad.

The 200, 220, and 230 like the taste of needles too. We have been using one of the three listed here for the last 10 to 15 years. The only time there was trouble was on light windrows. Parts are starting to get pricey though. ihfan2

Will, would you have a copy of the manual for the case 130 baler that I could get hold preferably by scanning and emailing as I am in Australia.

Regards,
Damon

I don't have a manual, but they are available. Have seen them at flea markets.
