Haying Equipment Questions

This weekend went and spoke with elderly gent who is selling off his place and the equipment. I was interested in his haying equipment.
I have lost the link to the Haying forum.

I have checked archives for Krone Niemeyer but no luck. Can anyone tell me about Krone Niemeyer round balers and equipment, i.e. tedder etc? Me and a friend are considering custom haying this summer.

The equipment looks in good shape but I am concerned about parts availability and sturdiness of this equipment (common failures).

Thanks Y'all!

Fixed chamber chain type round balers. Pretty good if you want a fixed chamber baler. I have no experience with any other stuff of theirs. They have a parts depot in Memphis TN also their North American HQ.

That's the only reason I didn't look at Krone (didn't want fixed chamber on a baler) otherwise stuff looks good, appears well engineered/constructed.

Krone makes some good equipment, as for parts there should be a dealer somewhere near u that can get them, the dealer up here, deals in just about all the foreign stuff. all the stuff is good, the krone baler makes a nice bale, and rakes and everything work great.

I know this casue krone did a haying demo. here last summer and they used all the equipment that they made and had reps there and everything to explain all the equipment.
