Just bought a 9 shank Dearborn tiller (field cultivator) A couple of the heavy extension springs are missing. haven't tried NH or Agco yet (same thing also sold under Ferguson, MF, and Pittsburgh names) but I know if they have them, they'll be expensive. Anybody know of an industrial spring supplier that could help?

Tim I used to have a Ford field cult. made by Glenco. Would the springs be verticle mounted on each shank.

These are horizontally-mounted extension springs, not compression springs. This field cultivator is a 9 shank unit, on 3-pt., dates from about 1955. Pittsburgh made it, Ferguson sold it too. Ford dropped it, but MF sold it until late 70's. Agco probably still has the springs, but judging by what I've paid for other parts, I'd pay more for the one spring than I did for the whole cultivator! ($130)
