If anyone here uses a Cole 12MX Multi-Flex planter, I would like to know which seed plate, by number if I may impose, they use for planting Silver Queen (or similar) sweet corn seeds?

I have the plate that came with the planter - PDX-367 -, but it doesn't seem to pick up the sweet corn seed (Silver Queen and Ambrosia) very well. Does great with the field corn, however....

Love to know what plate anyone else uses.

All advice appreciated and Thanks!

It all depends on the size of the seed. The PDX367 plants medium flat seeds. If you haven't already gotten a list of seed plates for seeds, email me and I'll send you a copy of the one I have. It looks like there is 14 different plates that you can use to plant corn, alone! You can email me @ tabner1@airmail.net.

Do a web search for Powell Manufact, they still carry the cole planter plates. they may be able to advies you. They make a bout 75 dirrerent plates, if you have a duplex machine, then you will need a right or left, they turn in opposite directions. either way contact them
