I have a walk behind (possibly horse drawn cultivator). It has Lindsay Bros. Milwaukee, Wi. on the handle. It has three rows, with the two outside adjustable with a center handle. Does anyone have any info on this? How old this may be and if it is worth anything? It also has a wheel out in front.

Around here the typical rusty grove model with all parts goes for $100 - 200. Depends on the brand, & I'm no help there.

I'm sure you mean a one row cultivator???? you could walk along behind & adjust the 2 gangs close to the rows while the horses wandered back & forth. At any rate, there were no odd numbered rows other than one, so it's one or 2 row.

Al, that sounds like a one-horse cultivator. They were pretty common. I used to use one in my garden, with my wife on the tractor playing the part of the horse. It was very handy. That ended when I backed over it with a truck. I don't think it would be worth much around here. If you want to sell it, I'd recommend taking it to New Jersey, based on what Tim(nj) says.

I don't know anything about the company, but the thing is definitely worth something. I saw a cultivator similar to what you describe, in excellent shape (had been found in a barn, was in there maybe 60 or more years unused)go at auction for $650. There was also an old Syracuse horsedrawn 2-way plow in excellent shape, that sold for $700 at same sale (also had been parked in corner of the same old barn).
