After looking at the teeth and your identification I agree that it is a John Deere rake. I can get the teeth thru TSC but they don't stock holders. Any ideas? J.D. dealer can get them but they are very pricy. I'll say thanks in advance. Farmman

Farmman, I think I paid $1.95 per tine for my New Idea rake at an implement dealers. TSC is likely cheaper. How pricey are the clips from your JD dealer?. They surely aren't all no good? I would guess that you might need to get some replacements..if you only need twenty or so it won't bite you that hard. If you are carefull removing them they should be reusable....Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario

The J.D. dealer gave me a price of 2.50 ea. for the holders. There are quite a few missing although I haven't got around to counting them yet. Been waiting for my new sand blaster to come in so I can give her a coat of paint and do it up right. Surely there is a place other than the dealer that I can get them from.

Farmman I went with rubber mounted teeth on my John Deere 894 rake. These teeth did not use the holding clip so I have a whole bucket of them. A check with the dealers parts book would tell if they are the same holder used on the 594. Good luck.

The 594 used double prong teeth. The 894 used a single tooth, so the clips are not the same.
