Need to replace my running gear for my flat rack. I can get a 6 ton for $250.00 and it in pretty good shape. Needs paint & two tires. Seems like a good deal, but dont know what they are going for?

New gears are about $600, plus tires. $250's not bad, esp if it's a decent brand and tracks well. I got a bunch of JD's with gravity boxes on them for $350. Put new 18' flats on them and sold them for $1000, sold the boxes for scrap for $100.

I have two 8' x 16' hay racks on 6 ton gears that work real well. I am building a 10' x 18' rack on 10 ton gears right now that will hold about 250 bales. I get 150 bales on my 16' racks.
