I've got an original IH 2 bottom (12" or 14") fast hitch plow. It came with a 1956 farmall model 200 tractor. One of the bottoms moldboard has a piece broken out of it. Original owner must have hit something very hard with it. Does anyone know if the moldboard can be purchased and where? I'm not sure of the model number of the plow or what to look for to find out. Any help from the good people on ytmag forum is appreciated.

Our Case/IH parts guys are young and eager to please. I talk to them often and they are always helpful. I'll look close for the number on the moldboards and see if they can get me one. If not I'll search other places. I think the plow will work as it is, but not as good as it should. Thanks for the input.

Mike: What you must identify more than plow model number is plow bottom There would have been 2 maybe 3 different plow bottoms in those days. Should be a number on that moalboard. This may also require some searching as some of those plow parts are no longer carried by CaseIH. I suspect also it may be certain dealers, that don't want to bother. Some of these guys don't want to see you unless you have $500.00 hanging out of your pocket.
