I'm going to add a liquid preservative applicator to my NH 565 small square baler and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the various applicators and preservatives. The Harvest Tec applicator sold through NH and JD is twice the price of after market applicators, is it worth it?

Who has convinced you guys that you must waste money to make hay. I farmed for many years, baled as many as 35,000 bales per year and every one of them went straight into barn. I NEVER used a preservative and NEVER had a fire. Come on guys this is just hype to sell gadgets and their supplies.

I use FreshCut from Kemin and have a Kmin applicator on my baler. It is a simple flow meter with a rate chart attached. The Harvest Tec applicators are very nice, but i hear that they have not quite perfected the automatic applicators. They may have that fixed by now, I don't know.
