I have an 8 foot disc that my dad bought in either 1951 or 52 for his VAC Case. It is for the Eagle hitch and is a Case harrow. I also have a reversible plow,a 2 row corn planter, and the side and rear cultivators. My question is what were the model numbers for these and where to find parts. Are they still available thru Case? The corn planter is functional but rough, and the harrow needs new cross shafts and probably bushings etc. Thank you.

The disc to which you refer was, to my knowledge, built by Case or built for them by some other manufacturer. I suspect it was painted green with some of the pieces in Case orange. These parts, especially wear parts such as bearings, spools, etc. should be available through your Case/IH dealer. Frame and Hitch parts are probably not available any where. If the frames, hitches, are in good condition it might be best to convert the gang assemblies to some other manufacturer, Brgs, hangers, gang rods, etc. There is a manufacturer in Pine Bluff, Arkansas who still supplies parts for the old King Plow Co. of Atlanta, GA which are ideal for a gang conversion. These parts should be available through the SMA Co. in Jonesboro, AR. Hope this infor. might be of help.
