Lost pto shaft for service 6 foot cutter-need one

i was moving my 6 foot drag service cutter and didn't pull the inner square tubing that attaches to the tractor out and i lost it..backtrcking was futile and i have decided to buy one but it needs to be at least 6 feet long with sheer pin..buying one cost more than the cutter did..does anybody have the entire shaft for a drag cutter?perhasps one off a junk drag cutter? for a fair price..i have listed it one slassified but no replies thanks..allen

You can buy bulk square tube of the proper size, cut to the length you need at most any farm dealer or repair shop. They should also have the pto yoke you need, and just weld them together.

TSC lists one, 56"-6', item #0271619, for $220. If yon need more length you can add an adapter for about $20.

We all make mistakes. Since you didn't get any replies from last time, I'll guess you will have to bite the bullet & buy a new one. You could scour any local tractor bone yards to see if anything adaptable is lying around, but generally pto drivelines are in demand & you will pay for it anyhow.

The local farm supply stores are probably your best bet.
