Baler knotters

Found some plastic twine in the diesel tank of a tractor,it must have been there at least a year undisolved now I spray the knotters with diesel 2 or 3 times during the winter ,stops rust no effect on twine.

i just gota wonder what sorta knuckleheads you have working for you that would manage to get baling twine into a tractor fuel tank,how would that happen, and besides most tractors have a strainer on the filler anyhow. i have never heard of this happening before

I haven't seen any filler strainers on any diesel tractors that I have used except for a little White-Iseki.

hmm, thats interesting, i cant think of anything diesel that i own or have ever used that didnt have a strainer,my ford 8000 has one, my dads IH TD9 has one, the jd 350 that i painted for a friend last year had one as well as his cat 977 trackloader, most of the diesel equipment that i can recall everhaving put fuel in had a strainer of some sort, i just figured it was sorta standard

A lot of modern tractors have plastic diesel tanks
