MIKE ALL THE LETTERING ON MY DISK IS GONE BUT FOR THE LETTER W. THE DISK I HAVE HAS A ANGLE FRAM AROUND THE DISK GANGS AND THE DISK GANGS ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE.THE REST OF THE FRAM IS ROUND TUBE.DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A RW.IF IT IS A RW WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THE SLOP IN THE BEARINGS.
I CUT UP 70 AC WITH THIS DISK TWO TIMES THIS YEAR FOR MY BEANS.THIS IS THE ONLY DISK I OWN SO I WANT TO KEEP IT IN GOOD SHAPE.BUT I HAVE NOT FOUND OUT YET IF THE BEARINGS ARE BAD OR IT IS JUST MADE THAT WAY.ALSO THE DISK SHAFT IN 1 IN ,

Mark, on the RW disks, the bearings were white iron. They were not overly tight when new- not like a disk with bearings. We used to run these disks a lot and the best thing to do is to grease them often with a very good quality grease-like two or three times a day. Cheap grease won't stay put long in these disks- use the best gun grease you can afford. They are a good disk, and are pretty trouble free. Hope this helps. Mike
