We bought a 5530 about 2 years ago and it has worked out very nice for us. I live in NC and roll about 100 bales per year. Ours has an electric tie attachment, well worth the money. Parts are easy to get and this baler is very similar to the newer model 530.
Our had new belts installed a couple of years before we got it $400-$600) and has always been stored inside. It starts a bale easily and if you weave back and forth across the windrow the rolls come out nice and even. We paid $4,500 for a clean 1987 model.E mail me if you have any questions.
