Hellllppppp!! Just bought a horn loader, I believe the model is a 115 form the Horn Manufacturing Co. The salvage yard that I got it from, weren't sure how it went together. If someone has one and could send me pictures or send me to a web site were I can see where everything goes, I sure would appreciate it.
Also, has anyone modified the bucket by adding a hydraulic cylinder?

Greg
since no one has helped you yet, will try to jog my memory. has been 50 yrs since I saw one on a JD A , so might be a bit off. all dimensions are approx, these parts for each side.
1- flat plate 1/2 x 8 x 18 with 6 in hole hangs from frame
2- 3/8 x 2 x 24 bar from bottom of flat plate to frame, makes a triangle brace.
3- 6 x 36 tube thru flat plate, makes bottom mount for lift cylinders.
4- main push arm pivots on bracket clamped to rear axle housing
5-3/8 x 2 x 72 bar from axle bracket to top of cylinder, holds cylinder in position
6- 3/8 x 2 x 72 bar from top of cylinder to front end of main push arm, near bucket pivot, does the actual lifting.
7-3/8 x 2 x 36 bar, across top of cylinders, holds them in position.
all the push stress is carried by the rear axle housing.
all the lift stress is carried by the main frame approx 30 inch to rear of front end.
if I had my scanner working would draw a sketch.
hope this helps
Willie
