Anybody have experience with one of these?

Mine wants to plug the blower. It seems to slow down under load, it
s like under the knives the chop builds up and isn't blown in to the mixer fast enough. It's not the tractor as the pto and engine don't slow down. (I've run it on four different tractors with the same results.) If you keep more than a shovel full of ear corn in the input auger, it wants to plug. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks guys, I'll try belts.

I wonder if even the large drive belt for the hammers needs to be replaced.

Is there an after-market source for those belts or is the dealer the only source?

Thanks again.

Make sure belt is tight and in good shape. Put some belt dressing on belt might help besure not to get to close to belt might get your hand. I have an old burrmill I have to use dressing on. Don't put to much on will cause belt to slip. Hope this helps .

What do the blower blades look like? Hard to throw light fines & cobs, you need good clearences on that blade. Also the liner could have holes wore in it to trap stuff.

Is the auger & paddles under the hammers in good shape, with a good belt driving it? The fan tends to such stuff through, but those paddles on the auger really give it capacity...

This is probably a dumb question , but is your corn dry ? If not, it's probably gumming things up.
