I've got a Ferguson model D-E0-20 side rake that I can find no info for on the web. I want to get it running again. It's a 3-pt mount, PTO drive with a belt, 6 raking bars, about 7' raking width, and two caster wheels in back. Did it later become a M-F model that I could find info on?

Tony:

If you search this site's archives for DEO 20 and/or DEO 25 (don't use a hyphen with this search), you'll find about a dozen entries.

I've got one of each model, the 25 is a little wider and heavier built than the 20. They were later renamed, as I recall, MF 25 and 20 and production carried on thru the early-to-mid 60s. Some parts and the manuals are still available from Massey Ferguson.

They're decent rakes--built like a tank--although the -25 makes my 8N tractor's front end a little light.

good luck,
Tom

Thanks for the tips - I'll give it a try. You're sure right about being built heavy. Even tho it was very rusty, I passed up a New Holland 55 for the same money at the auction because this rake looked sturdier.

Tony.
