This is a three point mounted plow used with the Ford 8N. How and where do the "lifting arms" attach to the tractor? Is there other attachment hardware required to operate this plow that came on the tractor? I need any assistance anyone can give in understanding the operation and installation of this plow. Thanks.

I own one of these plows too and there are two brackets that mount where to two small brackets the stabilizing chains hook to near the PTO output shaft on the tractor. The chain brackets need to be removed and replaced by the brackets for the trip lifting arms. The chains are then attached to these new brackets. The ones I have have been fabricated but work quite well. dongover

I own one of these plows and there are 2 brackets that attach to the mounting points of the brackets that the stabilizing chains hook to on the tractor by the PTO output shaft. The chain stabilizing brackets need to be removed and the brackets for the trip bars mounted in their place. There is a provision to reattach the stabilizing chains to these newly installed brackets. The trip bars are then ran through the loops on the plow and then attached to the trip brackets on the tractor. Hope this helps. Don
