Hi, I have a fast hitch 3 bottem trip plow made by McCormick the model number is 311. this plow was orginally bought for a farmall 340. Is this a rare plow? How much would one sell for in ok condition? (has paint loss and rust)
ps, what are the main differences between a Farmall 340 and a international 340 utility tractor?

In this part of the world a model 311 plow in the condition you describe would go for $200-$300. By the way, a 3 bottom plow would be a mighty big load for a 340. I'm sure many of them did it, and I know of one, but it was easy plowing and even at that it was a full load for that tractor.

Joe: That 311 plow would have been quite common, as to worth I would say not much in my area anyway. There is one at a tractor wreckers, near by has been there for 3-4 years. Last time I was there it was in the scrap iron pile. I asked about it, he didn't have time to dig it out. I was mainly interested in hitch forks. I guess he figured I would give him enough for it to pay for his time. He was probably right.

On 340 Farmall and Utility models rear axles and wheels are different and the front end is different, not sure about front casting that front end bolts to. It could be different also.
