I have an early 50's Super A. I mounted a Bushhog belly mower on it.According to the leading edge of the blade the mower is turning backwards {counter clockwise}.The belt can only be installed one way.

if your belly mower was made for a cub then it is backwards on an A. Cub pto turns opposite of all other tractors. I have run a woods 59 that was designed for a Kubota on a cub had to cross belt to get proper blade rotation.

I have a woods belly mount under my Super A, while the belt can only be installed one way, it can be made to rotate either direction, Mine is a RH discharge, so it must run clockwise as I look down on the mower. It changes with the first wrap on the center pully as it comes off the idler from the pto. This is all assuming your hog has 3 blades all driven off the same belt, as my woods has. Hope this helps
