I have a 290 planter that I bought last year and used for the first time this week. I cannot get the lift mechanism go in the up position when I pull on the lever at the end of a row. Is there something wrong with the clutch in there or is there another lever that has to be in a different position? I have also lifted it up by hand and it will go up and lacth in to position but as soon as it moves forward it drops back down. Any suggestions?

I will bet its just dirty inside the clutch. Take it apart and clean it and it will be fine. Happens after sitting for an extended period of time.
