Allen: Back you go to your Ford dealer and get a manual for your 8N. These manuals have a section in them on setting up your plow and getting started plowing. They are too many tricks and habits about plowing to begin to describe it here. Don't expect plowing match results for quite a while and get yourself a decent set of discs to work up the mistakes you ain't so proud of. Welcome to Honest to God Groovin'. Good Luck. Tom.

Ditto above, read up and practice. Make friends with an old timer and get some lessons, I wish my Grandpa had taught me how to plow before he died. I can turn over soil, but there's an art to it that I have not mastered.
