Our baler works well. Bales are for the most part uniform in length and density. The condition I am trying to learn more about is why it ties long on one side. The inside side of each bail is almost always longer than the outside. This causes the bales to have a tendency to come apart when picking them up. I have a manual, but was not able to identify this characteristic or a correction for it.

page 26 of the original manual shows how to install what is called an up lift kit. it is just a 6X13 piece of sheet metal put right in front of the knife slot to lift the hay up so the tines can pull the hay all the way to the flywheel side of the baler making a more uniform density bale.

Light windrows will do that on a 14T. Drive a little faster where it's too light to get a bigger charge into the chamber. Your manual will tell you these things. Mguy.

Sounds like the feeder fork isn't pushing material far enough into the bale chamber, which makes bales lopsided. There should be a section in the manual on how to adjust the fork delivery.

The screws on each side of the bale chamber on the back end can be used to make small adjustments.
