I have a Cub Low-Boy 154 with a Front End Loader. What I would like to know, is there such a thing as a higher pressure hydrolic pump for this tractor? This thing will only pick up about a 1/3 bucket of dry dirt. I am told that they will only pick up about 200lbs from the factory. Is this information correct? And if there is not a higher pressure pump, then could you tell me if there is any way I can increase the amount of bucket lift? The hydrolic tank is full, however, one of the tilt rams is leaking a very little bit.

Is the loader frame, tractor front end, etc. able to handle more weight? Sometimes the hyd are derated to match what the iron can handle.

An Expensive way to solve the problem is to replace the lift cylinders with larger diameter, the more surface to push on the more lift, never was around a Low-Boy but maybe you could pick up a pair at salvage. May have to have extra reserve tank if needed.
