What is the guidline for replacing bent bars, how bad do they have to be?

Bought a used baler and some seem to touch the stripper roller, should that be a problem? Thanks.

Not familiar with the term stripper roll. Been a while since I worked on one and I let my books go with the last one. There is an apron chain drive which has rubber pads on it to drive the chain. If the bars touch the metal on this one it will cut them just like a band saw.

Bent bars put a lot of side torsion stress on your apron chain. I used to pull all my bent bars. I'd replace them and then in the winter straighten the bent ones, saved about half.
