The IH 15 hay is excellent. Dad used one for years. We bought one when we were sharecropping and I still have it. Use it every summer and never let me down.

I have a #15, the rake works pretty good but I would rather have a #35 with the dolly wheels. I would think an 8N should be able to handle this rake, unless you are light in the front end, the #15 isn't the lightest rake to lift and hitch up(mine needs a better jack).

an 8n makes a nice rake tractor. I use a ferguson to-20 on a new holland 256 rollabar. I can turn a square corner, start right back and make a double windrow without leaving a "loup".
