Does anybody have any comment or experience with a Case baler. I dont know the model but I am going to look at one tonight and I have never heard anything about one. Is there anything that I should stay away from. His wife said that it had some kind of fork broke on it and that they had the part to fix it. I guess it has been in the shed for the last 5 years. Thanks in advance. David

Ive had a Case 140W for aroud near 20 years. It had nearly always gave me trouble. I finally gt to swabbing the little rod under the bill hook rods with neverseez I took them off and saw wire grooves on the tops of them. I called a Case dealer and theyt found out in their database where the rods could be had and sent them to me. Baled lke a charm. Mine has a crosswise mounted Case air cooled engine on it like a VAC. kinda a pain to get started the first of every year as I only bale around 200/400 bales. I have baled windrows big enough that I had bales 15ft apart. The only thing u wont like is the revolving table canvis. There kinda a pain, but even they work good if properly tightened up. Dont get radical on that tho, might have to replace it, and that would /might be a pioece hard to find. Not for me, but it would be expensive

I'm using an old Case 133. Couldn't say it's a good baler as it's the only one I've used. There's several things I'd like to see different on it. The THD wisconsin is noisy, tempramental, and shakes like a wet dog. It'll only pack to a 60 lb. dry bale. But, after the trouble areas I fixed last year it's doing fine. I'd like to see more tons/hour baled but.... Going on 1300 bales without a missfire now.

Case bailers were made by hesston for case. I think that some parts should be available.

i bet it is hard to find parts for. Unless you are real familier with it I'd stay far far away.
