I recently purchased an old Ferguson wagon. I would like to restore this to as close to original as I can. My running gears needs from repair and painting but the entire bed is missing. I also has car tires on it now.
Does anyone have any information on these wagons?
What are the original tires? What did the bed look like and what type of wood was used?
Any info and/or pictures would be helpful.
Thanks.

All Ferguson Grey, Bed anything farmer had or could make that would work, 16" wheels and most likely bought without tires and used car tires put on

ferguson gray, the car tires are probibly correct. 50 years ago 16 inch car tirs were common and easy to come by. then equipment manufactures went to 15 inch as that was what the cars were using. A farmer could buy a new wagon on rims and mount used tires. Now you may have to buy impiment tires to get the right size. likely 600x16
